For c17 I created a modular set of debris models that tried to solve the problems of our older ones. The older set only supplied two variations, of which only had two sizes. They were expensive, had no bumpmaps or AO, and didn't provide an easy way to adapt them into any scene. For this set I created normalmaps from the high-poly, as well as a separate AO sheet for shader use. Smaller chunks were created to help layer rubble and damage falloff, as well as provide additional detail to help dress the main debris piles. For c17 we heavily used these models.
