On Fire, and AI fixes


We’ve been playing around more with the mod today, and the engine at that too, ad we found that Darknessmode still works in the SE2 Engine. 

So now you can set people on Fire, and watch them illuminate the world around you! We’ll have this on all the time, even out in daylight, besides it just makes far more sense for something on fire to create light anyways.

Also another nice thing about this is that it seems to only hurt FPS when theres a Load of NPC’s burning at once. In this case more then 10. Yet you’ll probably never light that many on fire at once.

Aside that, we added in a nice little AI fix into the mod. Now any NPC will inspect a noise if they hear one. And in the above case, those zombies can hear the pain, but because they’ve lost thier ability to understand what pain is anymore, they walk straight into the pit of fire and then; too ctach fire themselves. It’s a neverending barbeque. 

Last, the lighting on this is pretty sweet. Match that with a mood, and some phong shading, and you have this:
